Privacy

Private Compute stores the information you type into a post, an inquiry, or the contact form, so the board can function.

Listing contacts

A post stores your name, organization, email, and optional website. The public page shows the organization, the contact name, and the website if you provided one. The email stays off the public page and is visible on the private manage link and to the site operators.

Inquiries and contact notes

An inquiry stores the sender’s name, email, organization, and message against that post. The poster reads it on the manage link. A contact-form note is stored for the operators.

Rate limits

The site stores a hash of the network address, with a salt, and a count of recent form submissions. It uses that to slow automated posting. It does not build an advertising profile.

Usage counts

The site keeps a daily total for each kind of page, guide, and filter, and for a saved post, inquiry, or contact note. A row is a name and a number, such as how many times the H200 guide was opened that day. It does not store a network address, a cookie, the search text, or the message. Crawler visits are counted apart from browser visits. Operators read the totals to see which parts of the board are used.

Cookies

Publishing a post sets a cookie so this browser can reopen the manage page. The admin desk sets a separate cookie after login. Both are HTTP-only. The site does not run third-party analytics cookies.

How long

Posts remain until the poster or an operator closes or deletes them. Inquiries remain with the post. You can ask for a post to be removed via the contact form.

Operators

The board is operated for the privatecompute.com domain. Messages sent through the contact form reach the people running this deployment.
